Spring is Springing

Signs of spring at last. We spent some time at Cambridge Botanical Gardens and I got a few photographs using my new Macro  lens. I still need to cultivate the patience to use the tripod more but I quite like the way this came out.

I’ve added a texture and a frame and could spend several more hours fiddling but I think I will leave it here for now – It’s good just to get a photo out of the library and into the world.

  2. I’m not sure what kind of feedback you want. I am pretty new to blogging and photography, so my opinion may not mean much.

I love the flower I think the colors are amazing, but you covered the bottom of the flower with a lot of the texture and I feel that the essence of the natural beauty of the flower gets lost.
